We got our first big snow of the year on Saturday. We probably got about 6 to 8 inches. It's perfect snow too! Great for packing.....lot's of shoveling though. The dogs LOVE playing in it! It's ski season again and time is flying....almost time for Christmas. Hope all is good for you guys and hope you all have a great holiday.

I can't beleive how old I feel. I took Cassie today to "Mountain Mike's Pizza" to see about a job. A JOB!!! Soon she is going to be driving and it scares the crap out of me! I swear it wasn't long ago we were playing "Sega Hockey" and drinking beer with no responsibilities but to work for a few hours at the car wash to make money for beer, gas and cd's. Now I have a daughter who is looking for a job and will soon be driving. Time is going by way too fast. Somedays I wish I was 21 again without a care in the world. Somedays.

Sorry So Long....Been Busy.

Sorry I haven't added anything in so long....it's been hectic here! Kids went back to school today. Jake's now in 4th grade and Cori's in 1st grade. Cassie starts sophmore year next Monday. Jake broke his arm AGAIN and goes in this Wednesday to see if he needs surgery before casting it. This is his 4th broken arm since Thanksgiving....3rd in the same spot. I've added some pictures we took on the way back from Illinois. Hope you enjoy them!

We're Packing up the Family Truckster.....

Times ticking away. Cassie flew to Illinois Saturday morning and we'll be leaving on the 22nd. The ole wagon and trailer are all shined up and ready to go! Doesn't she look pretty in the picture? Hope she makes the long trip without breakin down. Keep your fingers crossed.

Any Plans Yet?

So what's going on back home? It's only 2 weeks from today until we leave. Can't wait. Does anyone have any plans while we're home? Hope I can get together with everyone while I'm home. Congrats Shawn on your new job! Hope it works out for you. We'll talk moe when I get home. Til then.......later.

Closer and Closer

It's only 18 days now until we leave. We're going to try to drive straight through so we can be back on Saturday night.(If we leave on Friday around 2 or 3pm). I can't wait to see everyone. We'll bring our swim trunks BPDP....sounds great! Let me know if anything else is going on while we are back. I'll call when we get close and let everyone know when we are close. Not Much Longer

Well it won't be long now....as of today it's 26 more days until we leave for Illinois. Can't wait to see everyone again. Been hectic here so we can't wait for a vacation to see everyone again. It's going to be a long trip back and forth but worth it! Two of the trips will be without kids so it should be as little quieter. Anyways....just wanted to give you an update on when we will be leaving. Talk to ya all soon.

After a day of fishing we were on our way home and saw this nest on the side of the road. It was almost as big as the top of the telephone pole. I don't know what lives here but it must be huge!

Same old same old...

So how's everyone in Illinois doing? Just ducky here. Having a bit of a cold rainy spell right now but last week it was in the 80's and by the end of this week it's suppose to be in the 80's. This weekend we are celebrating Jake's 9th bithday (Which is actually on Monday the 7th). He is getting big and one of the things we got him was a big kids fishing pole (not scooby doo or spiderman) and tackle box. He LOVES to fish so tomorrow we are going up to the mountains to Deer Creek Reservoir and do some fishing....just me and him. We went to Sportsmans Warehouse to get his fishing gear and saw that the trout and bass were biting their so I thought we would give it a try. Jacob finally got his 2nd cast off after breaking is arm so let's hope that doesn't happen anymore.
Cori is doing good in school (besides talking too much) and is ready to come back to Illinois to play with her cousins and see her Grandma and Grandpa's.
Cassie is doing good in school and made Varsity for track at Copper Hills High School. She is only (1) of (2) freshmen on the team. She does high jump and the coach is working with her to see if she can make it to state!
