Sleepless in Illinois

Just sitting here at the in-laws....tired because it's hard to sleep in someone elses bed. It's nice to be home. Nice to see family and friends. I forgot how much I miss everyone. Part of me doesn't want to leave. I just want to stay and hang out with everyone. But what can I do? Maybe we will be home for good sooner than later......maybe.

Costco Easter Egg Hunt #1

These pictures were taken Saturday at Costco (Diana's Work) during their egg hunt. The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast. I hope everybody had a great Easter there! The weather has been in the upper 50's this week and today (Easter) we took the kids to the zoo. It was 58 deg. today and it was a perfect day to go. After we got back I took Cassie out driving. How freakin scary is that. She gets mad because everytime before I go driving with her I call Cori and Jacob in the room and tell them I love them and Daddy will miss them. Anyways...hope all is well back home and talk to you all soon.

St. Patricks Day

The day is quickly approaching and I can't wait. Does anyone have plans that night? It kinda sucks it's on a Monday but oh well. I actually am working at a bar called the Leprechaun Inn and of course St. Patricks Day is it's busiest day of the year. Not only will they have corn beef, cabbage and green beer but they will also have bag pipes. It should be a blast. Diana took Tuesday off and is coming over with a bunch of friends from work. I'm working from 3pm til 11pm and then I'm going to start drinking with Diana and friends. Should be a blast. Let me know if any of you guys do anything for St. Patricks Day. Beautiful Day on Antelope Island

Today, Sunday, was about 45 - 50 degrees and sunny. It was a beautiful day so we went for a ride to Antelope Island. It's always a relaxing day on Antelope Island.

Long Winter Days........

Not much going on here. Same old same old. We've had a ton of snow the last few weeks and we're suppose to get about 1 to 2 more feet in the mountains this weekend and up to a foot in the valley. I'm getting tired of shoveling snow! Work is really slow right now and we're laying people off. I'm not in danger of that since I'm a lead. I'm working Saturday night's as security in a bar. (http://thehukabar.com/) It's a pretty easy job. I hear good bands like Royal Bliss(http://youtube.com/watch?v=6I9TIsfpzUE) who got their start at The Huka Bar in Salt Lake City. Have you guys heard them out east? They are on the radio all the time out here. If you can find it, buy it....it's good. Hope everything is going good for all back home. Not real excited about the Super Bowl since the Pack are out but we are still going to some friends house to partake in the Superbowl ritual of drinking and eating way too much! I guess I'm rooting for New York because I hate Tom Brady and the Patriots and hope they get their as#es handed to them. Go Giants. I never thought, after last Sunday, I would say that but someone has to win right.
