Family Emergency....

The other morning I was getting Jacob ready for school when Cori came running upstairs crying and screaming the Sully (our Jack Russell/ Rat Terrier Mix) was hurt downstairs. I kept asking her what was wrong and she said he had something sticking out of him. I freaked and ran down stairs, tripping on toys, about killing myself trying to get to Sully. He was in the living room and I ran up to inspect him and saw nothing at first. Right then Cori came running up, still crying, and proceded to point to his whoha. "Right there Dad! See...something is sticking out of him!" I tried my best not to laugh because she was so upset. I told her to go get dressed for school and that Sully would be just fine. How do you explain that to a 6 yr. old girl? I'll let Mom field that one. It's amazing the things kids say and come up with.
